New in 1949, first of a trio of coaches
for Bournemouth, No.44 was used on the "Circular Tour", mainly for tourists.
After ten years as a coach the sunshine roof was panelled over and bus
seats were fitted for a further eleven years service as an o.p.o. bus.
Preserved and restored by the same family for the last 30 years, replica
coach seats have been fitted. Owned by Mr Miles Barber Glenn of Fareham,
Hants. |
