Aviation DP36R. seen at Winchester Broadway, whilst taking part in the
Winchester Running Day on 1st January 1998.
This bus was one of H&D's first
30' long vehicles. New in coach livery, it was repainted into bus livery
in 1954. Withdrawn in 1965 and sold to a dealer in West End, Southampton
in 1966. By 1967 it was working for Atomic Power Constructors Ltd at Dungeness.
Bought from a fruit farm for preservation in 1983. Now owned by Robin Banks
of Vigo, Kent. |
